How to Apply

Coral Calluna nail wraps are easy to apply and can give you that salon quality manicure without the cost and in the comfort of your own home.

To apply the nail wraps follow the steps below:

Make sure that your nails are clean and dry.

Push back your cuticles and shape your nails as desired. A basecoat can be used if you desire but is not necessary.

Choose a wrap that fits the width of your nail without touching the sides or cuticle. Watch for the shape of the wraps as each side often has a different shape which can help match the wraps to your unique nailbeds. Another tip for getting the perfect fit is to trim the wraps down to size before removing them from the backing. Just be careful not to cut too much!

Starting with your smallest nail, remove the protective film on top of the wraps and peel from the backing. Align the wrap on your nail bed and press down firmly making sure that all sides of the wrap are smooth against your nail. Fold the excess over the tip and gently file off. If using the semi-cured gel nails press down the edges of the wrap with the flat side of a cuticle stick.

For the semi-cured gel nails cure under a UV lamp for 60 seconds after pressing them onto your nail. Once cured I like to check that the edges are smooth and file down any excess. If the wraps still feel a little soft you can cure again for 30-60 seconds.

Finish off with your favourite top coat and enjoy!

To remove: Gently push your favourite cuticle oil (or coconut oil) under the edges of the nail wrap with a cuticle stick until the wrap lifts.

Tips:

Trim the end of the wrap a bit before folding it over the tip to make it easier to file.

If you have short nails you might be able to cut the wraps in half before removing them from the backing to get multiple wears out of one set.

Use a glass nail file. They tend to be less abrasive and are less likely to tear the wraps when filing them.

Wait a few hours before submerging your hands in water to allow the adhesive to stick better to your nails.
